Mac accessory maker XtremeMac announced Tuesday a drop in its U.S. retail price of the U.F.O, an organization tool designed specifically for flat-panel iMacs.
The U.F.O. — an acronym for USB FireWire Organizer — sits underneath the imac and is illuminated in blue. It routes keyboard and speaker cables underneath the Mac, and sports six self-powered expansion ports (four USB, two FireWire) on the front, hidden by a sliding door to cover unused ports. Equipped with rubber feet to keep the U.F.O. from slipping when it’s on the desk, the device measures just over an inch tall.
XtremeMac has lowered the price of the U.F.O. from US$129.95 to $99.95.
