Software MacKiev is using this week’s Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo to show off a Mac OS X version of Broderbund’s The Print Shop for Mac. They’re showing off the software in the Digital Media Pavilion at booth #765.
In addition to Mac OS X support, the new version of The Print Shop for Mac sports enhanced integration with iApps like iPhoto, iCal and iTunes, as well as Address Book.
The Print Shop is a mainstream consumer graphics application developed to provide users with the ability to create greeting cards, photo albums, banners, signs and other personalized projects. The software features “quick-start” templates, wizards and tutorials.
The Print Shop for Mac’s integration with Apple iApps enables users to browse iPhoto albums and place pictures onto Print Shop project layouts; import iCal events to create calendar projects; import iTunes playlists to generate custom CD labels; and use Address Book contact info to merge-print addresses on envelopes, labels, business cards and more.
The Mac OS X edition of The Print Shop will be available in early August for US$49.95; look for it from The Apple Store Online, Apple retail stores and specialty Mac retailers.
