Panic, makers of shareware titles like Transmit, Audion, CandyBar and other products, are looking for beta testers. The beta testers will be assigned to check out upcoming “mystery projects,” according to the company.
Panic advises potentially interested testers to apply quickly, because the sign-up period is likely to last only until Monday. Users need to fill out name, e-mail, and nine “semi-random” questions.
” … we’re serious about making sure our applications are as bug-free as possible out of the gate. No matter how well an application may work on our test machines, there’s always a basket of surprises once the software runs on all manner of strange machine configurations out in the real world,” explained the company.
Alas, Panic beta testers aren’t provided with free copies, simply the company’s “sincere thanks for helping to make our software as good as it can possibly be.”
