“Breen’s Bungalow,” the video series by author and Macworld magazine columnist Chris Breen, will soon be available as exclusive content for Macintosh User Group (MUG)-produced CDs.
Until now Breen’s Bungalow has only been available on the CD accompanying newsstand copies of Macworld magazine. However, it was announced at last week’s Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo that MUGs will be able to include this series of tips, tricks, product reviews, and more in creating CDs for their members. Breen will also be producing new content exclusively for user groups.
Two months ago, he and Macworld magazine began providing portions of Breen’s “Mac 911 column” for reprint in MUG newsletters through the Newsletter Content E-mail List of the MUG Center, an online resource for MUGs. Check the MUG Center’s Web site for details.
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s User Group Web page.
