Chicago Apple Store
will be home to a “Creative Community Event” on Wednesday, July 23, from 6-8:30 p.m. Sessions will focus on digital photography, color management, and communications technology.
Roger Siminoff, Apple’s senior manager of Professional Markets, will investigate how today’s communication technologies pave the path for information sharing of the future in the 6-6:30 “A Seachange in Communications Technologies” discussion.
ColorSync guru Kevin O’Connor will look at “The Science (and Art) of Color Management” from 6:30-7:30. He’ll show attendees how to make the color on a monitor and the color from final prints match using Apple’s ColorSync.
Advertising photographer Jeff Schewe will discuss the virtues of digital versus analog, image resolutions, how to select the best camera for a job, and the best tools for output in a “the secret to great digital photography” session from 7:30-8:30.
Then on Friday, July 25, the Chicago store will host “Business Solution Day” from noon to 6 p.m. Participants will have the chance to meet with business solution experts from Apple, Adobe, MYOB, Microsoft, and more about products and services designed especially for a small business.
