Willow Design has rolled out a new line of portable MacLab cases. Designed to fit Titanium PowerBooks, 14-inch iBooks, and the original “Clamshell” iBooks, the cases are designed to simplify the set-up of portable Mac curriculum labs in schools.
They were designed as a result of customer requests after Willow released its 12-inch iBook MacLab case in December, according to Nigel Peck, president of Willow Design. The cases will fit five to seven Mac portables (depending on the model), an Airport Base Station, power supplies, cords, and the accessories needed to set up a portable Mac lab. All components are stored in separate, padded compartments.
The MacLab case comes in four designs: the 12-iBook case, the 14-inch iBook case, the Titanium case, and the Clamshell case. The first three cost US$199 each; the Clamshell case is $206.
