Silicon Graphics Inc. subsidiary Alias on Tuesday launched 10 new additions to its line of Maya Learning Tools. Maya Learning Tools are books, DVDs and other content aimed at helping users get the most out of Alias’s flagship 3D graphics and animation software, Maya.
The new tools include three new additions to the Beginner’s Level DVD Series: Learning Maya 5 | Beginner’s Guide, Maya 5 Beginner’s Guide | Modeling and Maya 5 Beginner’s Guide | Animation.
New Maya 5 Books include Learning Maya 5 | Character Rigging and Animation, Learning Maya 5 | MEL Fundamentals, Learning Maya 5 | Rendering and Learning Maya 5 | Dynamics.
Also, three new additions have been made to the Maya Techniques DVD library: Maya Techniques | Character Setup & Rigging, Maya Techniques | mental ray Custom Shaders and Maya Techniques | Introducing MEL for Games.
All of the new Learning Tools are available for purchase at Alias’s online store. If you’re attending this week’s SIGGRAPH 2003 show in San Diego, Calif., you can stop on by Alias’s booth, #3015. Prices on the books are set at US$59.95, and other Learning Tools prices vary from $19.99 to $129.99 depending on content and subject.
