Wave Arts has expanded its line of pro audio plug-ins to support Digidesign’s RTAS plug-in format on Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.x. This offers support for almost all leading native audio plug-ins — and Digidesign TDM support is planned for a future release.
Wave Arts’ plug-ins include: MasterVerb, a stereo reverb plug-in; TrackPlug, an all-in-one channel strip plug-in with a compressor, gate and a 64-bit 10-band EQ; and WaveSurround Pro, a spatial enhancer/wide reverb plug-in.
Wave Arts is offering free upgrades to the RTAS plug-ins for existing Mac customers. For new users MasterVerb is US$149.95, TrackPlug is $129.95 and WaveSurround Pro costs $89.95. Demo versions of MasterVerb, TrackPlug and WaveSurround Pro for Mac OS X AU/MAS/VST/RTAS and Mac OS 9 MAS/VST/RTAS are available at the Wave Arts’ Web site.
