Apple co-founder Steve “Woz” Wozniak will be one of the guests on tonight’s episode of Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac. He’ll talk with YML host-producer Shawn King about his new company, Wheels of Zeus, and their first product, WozNet.
Earlier this year Woz announced the launch of a new technology venture called Wheels of Zeus — or WoZ for short. The company’s plans were to develop “new consumer electronics wireless products to help everyday people track everyday things.” The first solution from WoZ is WozNet. On tonight’s YML, Woz will describe it and discuss the concerns of some security experts.
Also appearing tonight on our Mac Life is David Mash, a former AppleMaster and current vice president of information technology at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. The school announced that all incoming freshmen will be required to have an Apple laptop, and Mash will talk about the decision. (AppleMasters are an international group of visionaries from different fields — educators, inventors, artists, writers, designers, athletes, scientists, musicians and movie producers, etc. — chosen for their contributions to society.)
Also, Your Mac Life’s own Sly Marton will review Mac OS X: The Basics DVD from TackyShirt Inc., and Peter Cohen of MacCentral will have the latest Mac gaming news.
If you have any questions for tonight’s guests, e-mail them to Your Mac Life. You can catch Your Mac Life every Wednesday evening from 5:30-8 p.m. (Pacific).
You can also join one of the two chat rooms that run during the live show — on the World Without Borders site or on the dedicated IRC Server at irc.netmug.org in the #yourmaclife Channel. If you have a high speed Internet connection, you can access the live video stream during the Your Mac Life broadcast. Or you can listen in to the regular audio feed.
