Pictographics International Corp. has released a stand-alone version (4.0) of its iCorrect EditLab color correction software that sports an AutoQueue feature for fast color correction of digital pictures.
iCorrect EditLab 4.0 is compatible with Mac OS X (10.1 and higher) and Mac OS 9.2 (and higher) and costs US$79.95 for the downloadable version. An EditLab plug-in for Adobe Photoshop is $99.95.
Both versions offer a four-step process for color correction and include Pictographics’ patent-pending memory color algorithms that let you correct special colors such as sky blue, foliage green, and skin tones. The application supports 24-bit or 48-bit color depth, has a linear 48-bit correction mode, offers ICC working color space selection, and sports ICC profile handling options. With it you can convert back and forth from these file formats: TIFF, TIFF/LZW, JPEG, and BMP.
