Zona Mac — a design center where people can rent iMac G4s and use the latest software from Adobe, Macromedia, and others — has opened in Lima, Peru.
“It has been a long process, but we are very happy and excited,” Oliver Diebold, Zona Mac owner, told MacCentral. “Many people in Peru, mostly designers, love the Mac. Unfortunately, they can’t afford one. Zona Mac gives them the chance to grow professionally in their area of expertise by providing all the best tools. In addition, we provide printing and scanning services, magazines, books, fast Internet connection, private offices for clients and group meetings, and a great place to work.”
You can take a virtual tour of Zona Mac by visiting the center’s Web site and clicking on “Tour Virtual.” The design center is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
