Apple Expo Paris won’t be the only major European event that Apple will attend this September. The company also plans a major presence at this year’s International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2003.
IBC 2003 is dedicated to content creation, management and delivery. The event takes place in September in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It runs from September 12 – 16, 2003, dovetailing nicely into Apple Expo Paris, which happens September 16 – 20.
The annual event takes place over four days at the Amsterdam RAI Congress Centre draws more than 1,000 exhibitors and more than 40,000 attendees from over 100 countries. Apple UK calls IBC 2003 a “must-attend event” for Mac-using filmmakers, producers, musicians, audio producers, Web developers and others. the company plans to use IBC 2003 to showcase Final Cut Pro 4, shake 3, Logic Platinum 6 and DVD Studio Pro 2 running on Power Mac G5s and other professional Mac hardware including the 17-inch PoWerBook G4.
