Teacup Software has released Palette Manager 2.0, an application that lets you lock palettes to document windows or page items. Once this is done, the palettes follow along automatically as you work and move documents.
Compatible with Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.x, Palette Manager has a Context Sensitive mode that lets you create different locked palette sets for graphics, text, paths and more. The Non-Context Sensitive mode is used with only one set of locked palettes and is designed to offer faster performance. Palette Manager can work in tandem with the Workspace Manager, Teacup Software’s utility that remembers how you last left your palettes.
The Palette Manager and Workspace Manager each retail for US$69.95; they’re available as a bundle for $119.95. If you’re a current user of Workspace Manager, you can buy the Palette Manager for $59.95. Both work with Adobe InDesign 2.0.2 or higher.
