IOGEAR has launched Memory Mouse, a mini mouse that can store files up to 32MB using flash memory. It’s compatible with Mac OS X.
“The Memory Mouse appears on your desktop as a drive and is drag and drop,” IOGEAR representative Noah Dye told MacCentral.
The US$49.95 Memory Mouse offers 800 dpi (dots per inch) resolution and features a retractable cable. The USB device is available now and comes with a carrying case.
The Memory Mouse is targeted to mobile workers who need to travel as lightly as possible. It’s tougher than CD-ROMs or floppy disks, making it less likely to be scratched or broken, according to IOGEAR.
