announced Wednesday that it now offers hosting services for its CourseForum and ProjectForum collaboration software.
The Web-based applications are designed to enable users to communicate online in virtual workgroup or classroom settings. It runs on standard Web browser software. Up until now, CourseForum and ProjectForum users have needed to configure their own server — which runs on Mac OS X and other platforms.
CourseForum Technologies indicates that it’s easy for users who opt for a hosted service to migrate to their own server-based solution when the time is right.
Hosting packages start at US$15 per month. The company is now featuring a promotion that provides new signups with double the normal disk space allocation. More details can be found online.
