Stick Software has released PhotoReviewer v1.0, a photo management application for Mac OS X that provides you with a way to review photos you’ve imported to your Mac, keeping the ones you like and tossing the ones you don’t.
The company is careful to note doesn’t compete with iPhoto. The software is designed to work “between” iPhoto and your digital camera as a “weeding tool” for bad photos you don’t want to keep. You can sort images into different folders, find and delete duplicates, and rename images. “… if you’ve tried doing that in iPhoto, you know how slow that is,” explained the developer.
PhotoReviewer is offered as US$10 shareware. Visit the Stick Software Web site for more details.
