SmartSound Software Inc. on Thursday announced the release of Edge Volume 6: Chill-Out/Cool Moods/Lounge. It’s a new collection of music designed to be used with SmartSound’s Sonicfire Pro, a rival to Apple’s own Soundtrack software.
With Sonicfire Pro, you can build your own soundtracks for video projects or other visual content. The software features fully orchestrated cuts that don’t need to be looped, and the software supports QuickTime format.
The new Edge Volume 6 collection includes acid jazz, downtempo, bossa nova and lounge tracks produced by Mark Hiskey and Chris O’Brien. SmartSound said the 12 tracks on the CD are “appropriate for scoring any footage that needs a fun yet hip sound.”
The Edge Volume 6 music library CD is available in 44k (US$99.95) and 22k ($49.95) formats. It’s available through SmartSound resellers and directly from the company. Individual tracks can also be purchased from within Sonicfire Pro itself, if you’re using version 3.x. Visit the Web site for more details.
