Imaging Technologies Corp. (ITEC) on Thursday announced the release of ColorBlind Edit v5 for Mac OS X. ColorBlind Edit is professional color management software designed to help maintain consistent color from scanners to printers to monitors. This release of ColorBlind Edit marks ITEC’s first release for Mac OS X.
ColorBlind Edit uses ICC profiles and works with ColorSync. Once you’ve assigned ICC profiles to the input device that has created the images you’re working with, you can view the image and perform color corrections with editing tools. You can also soft-proof by assigning destination profiles to see what the image will look like when it’s output.
Available now, ColorBlind Edit v5 sells for US$495.
