Though Apple isn’t exhibiting, its products will be used at the PhotoPlus Expo 2003 Photography & Design Conference, a photography and design conference that will be held Oct. 30 – Nov. 1, 2003 at the Javits Convention Center in New York. Targeted to pro photographers and imaging professionals, the show will offer over 100 seminars.
The show will be home to an all-new 2003 Digital Learning Center (DLC), an interactive pavilion on the tradeshow floor where attendees can experience the latest digital trends and learn digital productivity. PhotoPlus Expo has partnered with the Center for Digital Imaging for a hands-on demonstration of the digital workflow. To do so, the show’s organizers have incorporated Apple Xserves and Xserve RAID hardware. The DLC will also feature Mac OS X native tools that capture, name, annotate, archive, store, retrieve, edit and print images.
Also new to this year’s PhotoPlus Expo is the Digital Studio with live rotating photo shoots. Visitors will have a chance to see several exhibitions of images, including the World Press Photo Exhibit, which will feature over 200 award-winning photographs taken by renowned photojournalists.
