If you’ve wanted to try Ubi Soft Entertainment’s massively multiplayer online role playing game Shadowbane but you’ve been put off by the cost of the software and the subscription price, that barrier is no longer an issue. Ubi Soft recently announced a free 10-day trial, although you will need a valid credit card to activate the account.
This deal is open to both Mac and PC players. Users can download the software and set up the account for no charge, according to Ubi Soft. Shadowbane puts players in a medieval fantasy realm in which players are encouraged to become involved with strategic elements like city management, army creation, siege warfare and economic development.
Shadowbane was developed by Wolfpack Studios. The game was released earlier this year and shipped simultaneously for Mac and PC.
