MailGuardian, a collection of e-mail management tools, is now available from SubRosaSoft.com Ltd.. The US$24.95 application — which is compatible with Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.x — offers automated redirecting and blocking features for dealing with spam.
MailGuardian “watches” for specific e-mails by looking for certain phrases, then redirecting them to another address of your choosing. It also automatically downloads a new list of known spammers, and key phrases found in spam, then deletes matching e-mails so you don’t have to bother with them. And its filters watch for subjects and text within messages.
You can forward all your e-mails to another address — or simply e-mails that fit your predefined keywords. For example, you can forward e-mails to your AOL account when you travel, or forward the ones you received at work that are dubbed “urgent.”
MailGuardian works with any POP3 mail server and handles multiple e-mail accounts.
