Apple’s Web site took fifth place in
BtoB Magazine’s NetMarketing Top 100, a ranking of the top B-to-B (Business-to-Business) Web sites. BtoB is a magazine for marketing strategists.
BtoB annually evaluates about 800 Web sites in 14 industry categories. For sites to make it into the 2003 NetMarketing 100, they had to have an overall score of 88 out of 100 points.
Hewlett Packard was number one with a score of 98. 3Com Corp., American Express, and Dell were tied for second with 97 points. Apple followed with a score of 96. BtoB described Apple’s site as “beautifully designed, with a unique look and feel,” “easy to navigate,” with “well-executed basics plus great animations, technical support and product demos.”
