NewTech Infosystems (NTI) on Tuesday announced the release of Dragon Burn 3.0, a new version of their CD and DVD burning software for Mac OS X. The new version adds loads of new features to the software.
Dragon Burn burns data, audio, video, CD-Enhanced, mixed mode and multisession disks. It can also create disc images and records to various DVD formats. What’s more, Dragon Burn features multisession support and can burn multiple CDs or DVDs to different drives simultaneously.
Dragon Burn v3.0 features “Dynamic Drive Support” or DDS, which NTI claims resolves software and hardware compatibility issues. Another new feature in the new version is Live Update, which optimizes software compatibility with your CD burner.
Other new features include volume balancing across all tracks of an audio CD; support for importing iTunes playlists; “Live Audio” support through mics or analog music sources; UDF 1.5 support; layout filtering; multisession support using HFS, ISO and UDF file structures; support for Gracenote CDDB to download artist and title info; and the addition of integrated Discus label maker software.
Dragon Burn v3.0 costs US$49.95 and can be downloaded from NTI’s Web site.
