Mibasoft on Tuesday released PodQuest 1.0, a US$9.95 application for Mac OS X that lets you download driving directions to your iPod.
PodQuest adds a menu to your menu bar that contains shortcuts to MapQuest and iPod download functions. MapQuest is a site that offers maps, driving directions, a road trip planner and Yellow Pages by AOL.
PodQuest 1.0 requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher and an iPod with iPod Software 2.0 or newer. Also, your iPod must be set up for FireWire disk usage to use the application. When you buy PodQuest 1.0, you get future updates for free.
