Gluon has updated ProScale, the XTension for QuarkXPress, to version 7.0, adding support for Mac OS X and QuarkXPress 6.
ProScale is used to resize printed materials in an “intelligent” manner, according to Gluon. For example, it can resize things non-proportionally without distorting individual elements within the selection.
In addition to Mac OS X and QuarkXPress 6 support, ProScale 7 includes a special function palette, improved text fitting, a separate text-fitting tab, single-click scaling with presets, single-click column fitting, and new fitting technologies. It costs US$139; upgrades from version 6 are $59.
