The X Lab, a private venture dedicated to providing troubleshooting information and services to Mac OS X users, has published “Troubleshooting Mac OS X,” a new e-book that focuses on preventing and resolving common problems with Mac OS X.
The book is written by Gregory Swain, The X Lab’s founder, who has compiled a database of answers he developed in response to Mac OS X questions posted on Mac discussion forums. The 300-page e-book is hyperlinked and cross-referenced — both within the book itself and to various sources of Mac OS X troubleshooting info on the Internet.
The FAQs available on The X Lab are directly from the book, so you can sample some of the book’s troubleshooting advice and information before you buy it. A single-user license for “Troubleshooting Mac OS X” is US$15; multi-user and site licenses are also available.
