Apple CEO Steve Jobs continues to top Forbes’ technology CEO job approval ratings, which lets visitors to the site vote on the performance of several chief executive officers.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs received a rating of 91 percent for August. That’s up from 77 percent last month and tied for his highest tally yet. His approval ratings from February to June were 84 percent, 91 percent, 75 percent, 83 percent and 86 percent.
Cisco Systems’ John Chambers received a 76 percent approval rating in August, up from July’s 52 percent. Hewlett-Packard’s Carleton S. Fiorina was 43 percent for August and 22 percent for July. Oracle’s Larry Ellison was 31 percent and 48 percent for the last two months. At the bottom is Microsoft’s Steven Ballmer, eking out a mere 7 percent approval rating for August. That’s down from an already dismal 9 percent in July.
Votes are now being taken for the September job approval ratings.
