DataViz on Tuesday updated Passwords Plus (the personal information storage application for Mac OS X, Windows and Palm OS systems), adding the ability to print Passwords Plus accounts for storage in a safe location, such as a safe deposit box.
The application is designed to protect against identity theft by securing information such as PINs, passwords, credit card numbers and bank account log-ins with features such as 128-bit encryption. Along with the new printing feature, the update of Passwords Plus includes import and export capability, customizable templates and the ability to backup and restore.
Passwords Plus comes with more than 25 templates for bank accounts, credit cards, insurance policies, Web site log-ins and more. Now you also have the ability to create and save your own templates to fit your specific needs.
This is a free upgrade for anyone who currently owns Passwords Plus. For new users, the software is US$29.95.
