The Mid-Atlantic Macintosh User Groups Team (MaMUGs) has announced a series of presentations for Mac User Groups (MUGs) for September.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m., MaMUGs’ Frank Petrie presents “Font Management for the Rest of Us” at The Bucks & Montgomery Counties MUG (Bux-Mont MUG). On Wednesday, Sept. 10, MaMUGs’ Daniel East will look at “Beyond iMovie: iLife on Steroids” during a 7 p.m. meeting of the New Jersey Apple Macintosh Users Group (NJAMUG). Then on Saturday, Sept. 13, East will present “OS X Software Your Really Want” at the 9 p.m., gathering of the Mac Users Group of New Jersey (MACNJ).
MaMUGs’ Ben Waldie will discuss “AppleScript for User Groups” for the Princeton MUG (PMUG-NJ) on Friday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. He’ll do the same presentation on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 9 a.m., for the Philadelphia Area Computer Society/Macintosh group.
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware.
