Intelligent Assistance on Monday announced that it’s shipping Killer Titles: Intelligent Assistance for LiveType and Calligraphy. It’s developed for digital artists using Apple’s LiveType and Boris FX’s Calligraphy software.
LiveType is bundled with Apple’s Final Cut Pro 4 software. LiveType enables users to create titles for their video projects. Calligraphy is designed to accompany Final Cut Pro, and it produces vector-based titles for video projects.
Intelligent Assistance vaunts Killer Titles’s “smart learning” ability; users can either go through the lessons in a linear tutorial style, or they can use the Intelligent Assistance engine to figure out what area they want to learn about as needed. It’s for this reason that the developer bills the software as a “real-time support tool” rather than just a mere training resources.
The software combines QuickTime-based video clips with topic-based content. The 40 tutorials include more than 200 different “How2s” that combine movies and text to teach users different tips and techniques.
The software also includes 25 effects for LiveType.
Killer Titles costs US$75 and can be purchased online or from resellers.
