Macromedia Press announced on Monday that its Macromedia MX books have been updated for Macromedia MX 2004. Last month Macromedia introduced new versions of their MX product family, including updates of Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks, as well as a new product, Flash MX Professional 2004, and new “building blocks” called MX Elements and Halo.
Among the titles are the Visual QuickStart Guides reference for learning Macromedia basics. For those who have mastered the basics, but want the same task-based approach as the Visual QuickStart Guides, there’s the Visual QuickPro Guides. Novice or intermediate Macromedia MX 2004 users who would rather learn by working on projects rather than focusing on tasks may be interested in the Training from the Source series for self-paced, hands-on lessons that step readers through the creation of a complete project.
Peachpit Press is “the official publishing partner” of Macromedia Press. Go to the company’s Web site for details on the titles that have been updated with Macromedia MX 2004 information.
