Karelia Software on Tuesday released Watson v1.7.3 — an update to its popular Web content retrieval software. The new version is available for download from the Web site, and it’s a free update for registered users.
Watson v1.7.3 incorporates a new ability — automatically updated tools no longer require the application to be relaunched before they can be used. “… it should make many Watson users — you know who you are — very happy,” exclaimed Watson developer Dan Wood, in his Weblog.
Two new preferences have been added, also: “Download updates to tools without asking” and “When Launching, automatically select the most recently used tool.”
Watson v1.7.3 requires Mac OS X v10.1 or higher. A single-user license costs US$29; household and site licenses are also available.
