Apple will be an exhibitor at this year’s Government Video Technology Expo and the DigitalMediaDC Conference, both of which will be held at the Washington DC Convention Center. The former show is slated for Dec. 3-4, while the latter will take place Dec. 2-4.
The GV Expo provides hands on demonstrations of the latest professional video, audio and multimedia products and services. The show is exclusively for government video professionals who work in video production, multimedia, distance education, audio-for-video, security and surveillance, DTV/high definition, videoconferencing, law enforcement, presentation, streaming video and asset management.
The DigitalMediaDC Conference provides digital media professionals with training and educational sessions. It’s the result of a partnership between Future Media Concepts, a digital media training center and United Entertainment Media, publishers of Videography magazine and organizers of GV Expo 2003.
DigitalMediaDC will feature over 75 educational sessions on such software as Apple’s Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Avid products. Other topics to be covered include Web graphics, Web design, sound for video editors, video encoding for DVD and the Internet and video production techniques.
