CompuCraft Inc., an Apple Specialist in Grand Rapids, Mich., is holding a free “New Tools for Creative Professionals” seminar on Tuesday, Sept. 16. The event will focus on QuarkXPress 6, Panther (the upcoming version of Mac OS X) and the Power Mac G5.
Girish Joshi from Quark will conduct a tour of the latest (and Mac OS X compatible) version of the document publishing system. Brian Loose, the Apple systems engineer at CompuCraft, will offer a sneak preview of Panther, due later this year.
The seminar will be held in the Kirkhof Center (Grand River Room) of Grand Valley University in Allendale, Mich. Directions can be found online. There will be two sessions: one in the morning (8:30 a.m. to 12 noon) and one in the afternoon 1-4:30 p.m. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to each session; however, you can also register online.
