Intelli Innovations has updated IntelliMerge, its e-mail merge software, to version 3.5, which adds support for Panther (the upcoming version of Mac OS X) and other features.
In addition to Panther support, the update adds the ability to do direct, multiple drag-and-dropping of recipients from Mac OS X’s Address Book and enhances FileMaker integration. IntelliMerge now has a Bounce Targeting System; you can choose a specific address for bounced messages to be sent to using the application’s new Return Path customization tools.
IntelliMerge users can now separately specify addresses for the sender address, reply-to address and the return path for failed deliveries. What’s more, version 3.5 has a redesigned “Optimize” tool designed to make HTML e-mail messages faster to deliver, download and render in e-mail clients. There’s also a new, enhanced database engine and a variety of smell enhancements, including new keyboard shortcuts, a collapsible Tags palette and support for Mac specific ASCII characters in Styled Text mode.
IntelliMerge 3.5 requires Mac OS X or Mac OS 9.x. A demo is available from the Intelli Innovations Web; it costs US$79.95 to register, though version 3.5 is a free update to registered users of 3.x.
