Waterfall Software has released iVideo 1.0, a Mac OS X utility that lets you store and view movies in much the same way as iPhoto lets you organize and look at pictures.
Movies appear in iVideo’s list. From it you can double click on one and hit the play command (films can be set to play in full screen mode). The application can create albums on the fly and works with a variety of formats, including QuickTime, MPEG, MP4, AVI and DV streams.
iVideo requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher. The cost is US$16.95 for a single user license and $99.95 for a site license.
