The Chicago Final Cut Pro Users Group will hold a “back to school” meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 24. Among the items on the agenda is a look at some of the basics of Final Cut Pro 4.
Other topics include “Workflow and User Settings,” “Keyframing Basics,” “Media Manager,” “Printing and Editing to Tape,” “FCP 4 Audio Mixing,” “Compressor & Exporting to DVD,” and “Soundtrack.” All the software involved will be demonstrated on a new Power Mac G5.
The meeting starts at 6:15 p.m. and will be held in the Huron Room of the Chicago Tribune Tower, 435 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Ill. Attendance is free for CHIFCPUG annual members. Non-members are asked for a US$5 donation at the door. All paid attendees will receive a ticket for the monthly raffle.
