Apple CEO Steve Jobs has moved up 44 places to be ranked 78th on the 21st annual edition of the Forbes 400 list of the United State’s wealthiest 400 citizens. His net worth is now US$2.3 billion; of course, his standing is helped by the fact that he’s also CEO of Pixar, which found success this year with “Finding Nemo.”
The top 10 richest people were Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Paul Allen, Helen Walton, S. Robson Walton, John Walton, Jim Walton, Alice Walton, Larry Ellison and Michael Dell. (Gates’ worth is now $46 billion.)
Jobs also made Forbes’ second annual list of best-dressed billionaires. The list was determined by Joan and Melissa Rivers. Larry Ellison, Donald Trump and Steven Spielberg also made the list. Interestingly, Job’s black turtleneck and jeans attire was in contrast to the suit-and-tie look of the other best-dressed billionaires.
