NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America Inc. on Monday announced two new Accusync LCD monitors. The two new 15 and 17-inch displays are aimed at system builders and mainstream markets, with prices of US$309 and $439 respectively.
Both displays feature brightness levels of 250 cd/m2 and 400:1 contrast rations. Each sports a similar thin-frame design and tilt capability, and is available in either black or white cabinet designs.
The displays sport response times of 30ms or less, and can display up to 40 frames per second for games and streaming video. Both also feature 15 pin d-sub analog video connectors, compatible with the interfaces found on many Power Macs and PowerBooks. The 15-inch LCD51V model has a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels while the 17-inch LCD71V has 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution.
Look for both displays in stores now.
