Apple has long had a Hot Deals section of its Macintosh Product Guide, an online resource that links to information on Macintosh hardware, software and peripherals. Now Hot Deals has been spun off as its own Web site.
The Hot Deals Web site provides links and information about a wide variety of hardware, software and peripherals — everything from how to get a US$50 rebate on Keynote, Apple’s presentation software, to USB-based mixing controls for Mac-based audio engineers.
The Hot Deals site sports specials set up with more than a dozen Mac retailers who offer everything from productivity software and utilities, audio and video hardware and software, games and more that all work with the Macintosh. What’s more, the site links to Apple Store Web sites (for consumers, business and education) where Mac users can find Macs and hardware or software package bundles, deals for .Mac users and more.
