SmartSound Software Inc.
announced Monday the release of five new CDs for its Movie Music library. The CDs are designed to work with Movie Maestro, SmartSound’s soundtrack creation software — a competitor to Apple’s own Soundtrack software.
Each CD contains between 10 to 12 tracks of music. Using Movie Maestro, users can create custom-fit soundtracks for their videos and visual media projects.
The new collections include Blockbuster II, which contains orchestral cuts suitable for action or dramatic scenes; Christmas, which includes holiday-based music; Comedy, a collection of “wacky and madcap” music for humorous footage; Memories, which includes “tender and warm” music designed for emotional scenes, and Vacation II, with tracks that range from tropical to folksy.
The new CDs join six others for a total of 11 CDs in the
Movie Music CD library. Each CD costs US$29.95 and can be ordered online or through resellers.
