A week following the release of a demo of Northland, German Mac game publisher e.p.i.c. interactive GmbH has noted the release of the new strategy game to retailers.
Northland is a real time strategy game that draws its inspiration from Viking folklore and legend. The game follows the story of Bjarni the Viking, who answers a call for help from his friend Hatschi. Hatschi’s homeland is plagued by mysterious serpent creatures, and Bjarni comes to the rescue. The god of mischief, Loki, plays a role in the game as well.
Northland features a single-player campaign with eight missions and sub-missions. There are eight additional free single player missions that aren’t campaign-related; three difficult levels and more.
System requirements call for a G3/350MHz or faster; Mac OS X or Mac OS 9.x; 192MB RAM (128MB required for OS X). Northland can be ordered from e.p.i.c.’s online shop directly for €39.99.
