The samplemeisters at AMG are now offering two new Apple Loops CDs — created especially for Soundtrack, the music creation software bundled with Final Cut Pro 4 and also available as a standalone product.
Dark Side of the Groove — Neil Conti featuring Brian Eno — Apple Loops Version is the first disc. It’s a collection of long live mixes and jams with key loops sliced out in appropriate formats, along with shorter loops categorized as “Extreme,” “Resonant” and “Dry.” AMG says there are hundreds of loops in total.
Neil Conti is a prominent UK drummer, formerly with Prefab Sprout, who has worked with David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Annie Lennox, Deep Forest and many others. The disc also features special mixes contributed by the legendary Brian Eno.
Number two is 2Step Ahead — Leo Cavallo — Apple Loops Version. It’s a collection of over 800 samples including 13 groove kits, processed beats, key & synth riffs, vocal hooks, bass lines, FX & one shots.
Each disc costs £60. That price includes postage worldwide.
