Until it shuttered earlier this year, MacSurfShop was a spot on the Web where people could order t-shirts, download desktop images and icons and other goodies to display their enthusiasm for the Macintosh platform. Now MacShirt.com has risen from the ashes with a more singular focus, according to the company’s founder, Mike Yrabedra.
“… we’re responding to our customers requests to put out more shirtdesigns,” he said in a statement. “So that’s the direction we’re going and we feel that re-opening under the MacShirt.com name best reflects who we are and what we do.”
The site features a variety of cotton, pre-shrunk t-shirts with various designs to promote Macintosh ownership and Mac enthusiasm. The current crop of featured products include a Panther-style X logo; “It’s a Mac Thing, you wouldn’t understand;” “Mac geek;” a Monopoly board game-style logo featuring the word “Microsoft,” and others, including “I just got sued by the RIAA and all I have left is this lousy t-shirt.”
Prices range from US$12.95 to $14.95 and they’re available in a variety of sizes. There are still a few clearance items left over from MacSurfShop as well, priced from $3 to $5.
