Apple will hold training sessions for some of its videography products at ShowBiz Expo Chicago, which will run Nov. 6-9 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center (formally Rosemont Convention Center). Over 5,000 content creators are expected to attend the event.
The training session from Apple, as well as similar sessions from Adobe, Panasonic and Canon, will be free, as will other expo-related special events, including: an exhibition featuring hundreds of film, DV, VFX and audio-related products; an “Audio Zone” with demos and how-to lectures on pro audio; and a session conducted by the Chicago Final Cut Pro User Group. The group will host guest speaker, Carol Marin, Chicago Tribune columnist, former CBS & NBC news anchor, and correspondent for CBS News 60 minutes, The CBS Evening News, 48 hours and Sunday Morning.
Also free is attendance to the 20-speaker keynote line-up in which experts will share their experiences and techniques in the pre/production/post aspects of film, video, industrials, broadcasting and commercial production. You can register online.
