IDG World Expo on Wednesday announced that registration is now open for Macworld Conference & Expo. The event returns to its home at San Francisco, Calif.’s Moscone Center from January 5 – 9, 2004.
Conference highlights this year include the MacIT Conference, a new conference “dedicated to the nitty gritty details of running Macs in a large, networked environments. Experts will be providing details about using Apple’s Xserve and Mac OS X Server in tracks that include configuration and services, security, IT management and platform integration. A Mac Networking 101 track will also offer neophytes some practical instruction.
The Power Tools Conferences return to provide attendees with two days of focused training using specific Mac-based software applications and tools. User Conferences also provide attendees with ways to learn more about popular Mac-related products.
The Hands-on MacLabs provide half-day training sessions on key applications and tools for attendees that bring their own laptops with them. Tutorial sessions provide a full day of in-depth training also. A complete list of the Conference Program at January’s show is available online. What’s more, attendees who register for the Combo Package get access to priority seating for the always-popular Keynote and Feature Presentations.
