The latest edition of the user group-only version of Breen’s Bungalow is now available for download by Apple-recognized Mac User Groups (MUGs). It’s available for download from the MUG Center, an online resource for user groups.
This time in the QuickTime video tutorial, Breen, author and Macworld magazine contributing editor, covers backup options and strategies. In other MUG news, the Ashland Macintosh Users Group of Ashland, Ore., has joined the ranks of user groups using iMovies to present and promote themselves. Check out their work online.
Additionally, last week’s PhotoshopWorld conference featured a conference track, How to Get More from Your Macintosh Experience, that was attended by current MUG leaders and members. You can learn more about the session at the MUG Center.
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s User Group Web page.
