Patrick Amory of Matador Records and author-columnist Chris Breen will be guests on tonight’s edition of Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac.
This week Matador Records announced that “major chunks of its extensive catalog, as well as new releases” are now being offered at the iTunes Music Store. Amory will talk with Your Mac Life host-producer Shawn King about the announcement.
The November issue of Macworld magazine has a cover story on “The Laptop Nation” by Chris Breen. The author will discuss the article and how laptops are changing the Mac community. And, as always, Peter Cohen of MacCentral will have the latest Mac gaming news. If you have any questions for tonight’s guests, e-mail them to Your Mac Life.
Your Mac Life is also offering special deals on hotels for those wishing to attend the January Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. The Serrano Hotel is offering rooms, complimentary DSL, complimentary morning coffee and tea, and a complimentary wine reception every night from 5-6 p.m., for US$129 per night (standard room, single or double occupancy).
You can book a room online by visiting the Expo housing office registration site and entering the access code YML when making your reservation. Dec. 12 is the deadline for registration.
You can catch Your Mac Life every Wednesday evening from 5:30-8 p.m. (Pacific). You can also join one of the two chat rooms that run during the live show — on the World Without Borders site or on the dedicated IRC Server at irc.netmug.org in the #yourmaclife Channel. If you have a high speed Internet connection, you can access the live video stream during the Your Mac Life broadcast. Or you can listen in to the regular audio feed.
