Mac game maker Pangea Software on Friday announced the Pangea Super Pack, a collection that includes all of Pangea Software’s Mac OS X-native games. Included are Cro-Mag Rally, Otto Matic, Bugdom 2, Enigmo and Billy Frontier.
Cro-Mag Rally is Pangea’s racing game, featuring cavemen and cavewomen. Otto Matic is a third-person action game with a 50’s sci-fi movie feel featuring a robot and fleshy-headed aliens. Bugdom 2 follows the story of an intrepid grasshopper determined to recover his knapsack from the bully bug. Enigmo is Pangea’s 3D puzzle game in which players must collect different liquids in receptacles after routing them through mazes using a variety of tools. Billy Frontier is a space cowboy-themed series of mini games. Separately, all the games would cost $115, but in this package they cost $49.95.
The Super Pack was created to help get Pangea’s games into the hands of gamers who’d prefer to buy them on CD rather than download them, according to Pangea President Brian Greenstone.
Pangea expects to begin shipping the Super Pack on Monday, October 20, 2003. Pre-orders are being accepted on the Web site now, and for a limited time, UPS Ground shipping will be available for free.
