Logitech has rolled out the Logitech Pocket Digital 130, a US$149.95, Mac OS X compatible digital camera with 1.3-megapixel resolution and a strobe flash.
It has 16MB of internal memory, which holds more than 40 1.3-megapixel images or over 130 VGA-quality images. The Pocket Digital 130 sports a built-in lithium-ion battery that automatically recharges through the camera’s USB cable when it’s attached to your Mac. Additionally, the digital camera features a protective sliding lens and viewfinder cover.
Logitech’s new Pocket Digital 8.0 software is bundled with the Pocket Digital 130. The software enables single-click download for image transfer, photo album management, online photo printing and one-click e-mail. Windows XP or Mac OS X users can also view pictures anywhere there’s a computer thanks to a USB mass storage driver embedded in the camera; it allows plug-and-play operation with other Mac OS X or Windows XP systems — without installing the Logitech software.
